Hard drive (SSD) not recognized

Greetings all

I have a Dell Latitude E6520. The hard drive failed so I removed it and installed A Samsung 128GB 830 SSD I pulled from another laptop.
I deleted and then created a new NTFS partition and formatted it.
Installed in the Dell and the Dell doesn't recognize the drive at all. Windows 7 HP requests a driver for the drive to proceed with installation. Not run into this before. Kinda stuck in that loop.

Any suggestions or guidance?

I put the drive in a Dell Optiplex desktop and installed Window$ 7HP. I removed the drive and installed it in the laptop. The drive was recognized but wouldn't boot. Drive was expecting the desktop. Tried startup repair which as expected failed. I started from scratch and reinstalled Window$ 7HP. Did hundreds of updates etc and the laptop is happy and fully functional. I also used Dell's support assist to check for laptop specific driver updates. Several driver update recommendations were for drivers older than the ones already installed. A word of caution. Hope this is helpful to someone.
