Having trouble deleting windows.old after upgrade?

I have been on every guide, and well I am a fairly lazy person that does not like to read. You do NOT need to change ownership of the windows.old file to delete it. Here is how:
  1. Drag the folder to desktop.(this may take awhile, and you may need to restart if it freezes)
  2. After restarting the folder should still have been moved to desktop
  3. Simply drag it to the recycling bin.
I hate configuring when I do not have to, and so I found a short cut to resolve a problem as I always do.
