Hey guys...I haven't posted here in a long time and I'm not entirely sure if this is the place to post, but here's hoping someone can point me in the right direction...
Has anyone made or installed a heads up display into a car?
I'm after Ideas on how to do it, what equipment to use and if it is probable to use a laptop to influence what can be displayed? And Can it be installed to display the speed AND keep the speedometer working?
Been on google but can't find anything on the latter queries...
I would be keen on learning how to do this...Not really for the sake of cutting time at looking at the dash but to be able to do it...It's one of those cool things I feel compelled to learn (unless it's really expensive)...And the novelty of having a HUD in a 1991 Mazda 626 GT...
