Help with a motherboard boot

Hi everybody im getting my motherboard soon and i was wondering what to do on a first boot. I will have 2 optical drives and one hardrive. The is a MSI 790FX-GD70
AM3 motherboard

well for starters you will need to install a AMD processor and an operating system

are you building a new computer or swapping motherboards?

its a new build and i will be using a AMD Phenom II x4 965
with windows 7 home premium 64-bit

so you basically need to boot from your Windows 7 DVD in order to install the operating system after the system is fully assembled. you will need to format the hard drive with the DVD and then it will walk you through the rest of the setup. you may need to install additional drivers after Win7 is installed but they should be included on the CD/DVD that ships with the motherboard.
