My budget is around $750. I don't have a brand preference so if you would like to make some suggestions from other brands please full free to do so. I plan on ordering it within the next 3 weeks. I'm a little nervous when looking for parts because I'm afraid not everything would be compatible. Your input is greatly appreciated. Thank You. All of your links give me an error. This is a build I made for someone the otherday:
CPU: AMD FX-6350 ($140)
Motherboard: ASUS M5A97 R2.0 ($100)
CPU Cooler: Hyper 212 Evo ($35)
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x4GB ($70)
GPU: EVGA GTX 660 ($220)
HDD: WD Black ($95)
PSU: Corsair HX650 ($105, but it is $90 after mail in rebate--which is equivalent to the lower end PSU)
Case: Corsair 200R ($50)
That brings you to exactly $800. That will crush any game though @ max settings :). If you need me to lower the price of the build to somewhere near $750+Windows 7, I can do that. But this is the best build you can get for $800.

If you can find a lower build to around $750 plus a copy of windows 7 I would greatly appreciate it.

So you want the build to basically be $650 + $100 for Windows? What resolution will you be gaming at and what games do you play?

RTS games are usually more CPU dependent so you can cut way back from a 660/650Ti Boost especially at that resolution which is only half the number of pixels as 1920x1080 (if you're looking at benchmarks). Something like a GTX 650 (non-Ti) or 7770 might even be fine.

Rome II is pretty demanding though. I think he should get a 650Ti Boost, even though he is playing at such a low resolution. But TreyX, if you want to go with slh28's suggestion, upgrade your CPU to a 8350.
