Help with PC build - $1200 - Noob :)

Hello community! I'm planning on building a new desktop this week and would really appreciate some advise. It's my first one and I'm not very knowledgeable.

My budget isn't too tight. I don't mind spending the extra buck if I really feel I'm getting value for it, so that's why I ended up with a build of $1200. If not really necessary I'd like to not exceed it. I'm aiming for a mid to high range setup.

I'll be using it for gaming, lots of browsing and running some apps for my job (social media marketing). The apps are mid range in regard to processing power needed. But the apps will be running in the background while I do other stuff in the meantime.

So here goes:

1. Steer clear out of the way of seagate hard drives, for years they still keep having the highest failure rate due to engineering problems.
2.Yes I picked that ssd western digital drive and its way much better than samsung evo drive and you get more space to use for your os.
3.Gigabytes current video card have some severe problems, some may work for a time others don't.
Go count the revision number by their cards and you'll see why, zotac does much better same price tag and its miniture gtx card at that.

Go check the local stores for a new TV-Monitor first, ask them directly which screen resolution refresh rate will work highest at:
720p - 1080p 60hz 1920x180
