Outdated Java

Hi :

Your friend's computer has an extremely outdated Version of Sun's Java
( "j2re1.4.2_03"), a very serious security risk . It should be uninstalled ASAP AND
any other "Versions" of this program . Should ONLY have the latest "Version/
Update" of Java on a computer at any moment in time . The latest "Version" is
available at www.java.com .

Since your friend has Eset Smart Security, you should check the "Official" NOD32
Support Forums at www.wilderssecurity.com/forumdisplay.php?f=89 as to HOW
Best to configure the program .

And since he also has Spybot, which has highly experienced, trained, Volunteer
Experts in their Support Forums at http://forums.spybot.info , it would be wise to
make use of their expertise .

SpiritWind i'm assuming you meant these to be installed and checked on after the Comp is clean.

Because it is best to Install updates and programs when a Computer is Virus free, It isn't any good if you install updates to programs when your Comp has Viruses and Unknown files, installing these could make the Comp worse.

Yes he should update Java :).
