M macx Posts: 723 +3 Mar 31, 2007 #1 I don't use it - all it does is take up more space on my screen. Then I have to go back and "clear from bar" - I just want to be rid of it - but how? I don't have the "always show the tab bar" selected in tools Thanks!

G Goalie Posts: 613 +2 Mar 31, 2007 #2 How about don't use it? Don't open things in new tabs, uncheck all options to open new links, etc in new tabs, and use ctrl-n instead of ctrl-t when opening a blank? Or.. you could use IE6
