How good is this PC for gaming?

I don't know much about gaming PC's as I am primarily a console gamer. But I'm looking to get into the PC gaming scene and most likely switch from being primarily a console gamer to being primarily a PC gamer. So of course I am looking to purchase a gaming PC. I have found one but I'm not sure of how good it is so could someone please tell me if this is a good PC for gaming, core components are;

Processor (CPU): Intel® Core™ i3-2100 Dual Core (3.10 GHz, 3MB cache) + HD Graphics
Motherboard: ASUS P8H67-M LX SI
Memory (RAM): 4GB SAMSUNG DDR3 DUAL-DDR3 1333MHz (2 X 2GB)
Graphics Card: 1GB NVIDIA GEFORCE GT 440 - DVI, VGA, HDMI

Any opinions are appreciated, and don't hesitate to ask for extra information!

its ok bottom end

Hi
Its a steady away PC but only steady for example in the Intel i range there is I3 I5 & I7 the higher number being the best, So I3 is entry level but its still better than the intel dual core and single cores (although your I3 is a dual core) Most gamers i know run a minmum of Quad core AMD, alot have 6 core phenoms and others on intel side have either I5 or I7's if they have big poackets.
So in answer your PC will play most games but no where near the max, Your graphics card is ok but probably only worth about £50 in graphics card terms is cheap, Most gamers pay minimum £100, Also RAM 4GB again low, A few years ago that would of been over kill but now with 64BIT windows 7 here most people have 8GB, 16GB or even 32GB although 32GB is quite overkill.
So your PC will do the job but others would do it so better, But its that question where do you draw the line.
Hope this helps.
