How to connect my PC to the LCD TV?

Hi guys,
I've bought a new Panasonic Viera 32 inch LCD TV with HDMI and VGA connection.I've an old PC with VGA output only connected to a CRT monitor.I would like to watch the movies stored in my HDD in my new LCD TV.I know HDMI is of no use,but what cable should I be buying for connecting my PC to TV?

Well really you need to buy a double ended vga lead male to male pick them off ebay cheap enough that should slove your problem when you get you lead you need to go into display setting and change you display to you lcd display and it will appear

You need a VGA to VGA cable (or if you are lucky you can disconnect the one from your monitor and use it) and will also need an audio cable, one with a headphone jack on both ends (probably).

At the VGA in on the TV there will be an audio jack, typically its just a 3.5mm headphone jack, but it may be the RCA style with a red and white RCA jack for left and right channel.
