PC / Windows 10 here.
Bought a 30-day Xfinity hotspot deal; used it once, then closed the account.
However, the Xfinity Mobile HotSpot and Xfinity WiFi connections are still listed in the connection pop-up (attached pix); the HotSpot connection insists on "Connect Automatically" and unchecking it makes no difference, it just does that again.
Problem being:
The only way I've found from www search to disable/remove such requires logging in to Xfinity account and jumping through their hoops there.
Problem being:
Canceling the account without knowing I should have insisted that deletion be done means I now cannot "log-in" to the account I had . . . go figure.
Problem being:
Going into Network & Internet Settings to "manage" these two infidel connections results in them not showing up there to be managed . . . go figure II.
Searched through REGEDIT to see about cleaning any Xfinity out of there, but it doesn't appear there . . .
Comcast continues its long-recognized "excellent" (snort) customer service . . .
Any suggestions how to eject these connections?
