How to identify computers usb ports

I have 3 usb ports on my Acer Aspire] V5. How do I identify them, 1,2,3???

White = usb 1
black = usb 2
blue = usb 3

You can also just google the laptop model and check from the tech specs if you'd wish.

Does it matter which port you plug accessories into, and if ejected, should they be plugged back to same port?

Depends on the device. The difference between the ports is higher data transfer speeds so If you have USB3 external hard disks/pendrives it's recommended to connect them to the blue ones. Apart from that any connector will suffice, you dont see usb 1's much nowadays so general rule of thumb usb 2's for mice keyboards and old pendrives usb 3 for high data rate devices.
