I am trying to set up the Gamma. So I'm following the instructions of QuickGamma, which say to set the color temperature to 6500k. The problem is that the monitor controls only allow for the following changes:
- Warm white
- Cool white
- Manually adjust intensities for R, G, and B

Thanks guys :)

Warm White adds red...
Cool white adds blue...
Gamma adjusting software can be obtained from Adobe or by using Google. Gamma is a function of the overall brightness of a monitor

Thanks Tmagic650.
I already have gamma software (QuickGamma).
In fact, I am precisely following the instructions from that software, which say that I should "set the color temperature to 6500k", but I can't do it because the monitor controls don't show how :(
I was hoping someone new a workaround, maybe through a utility application.

Thanks,

colour temp on acer monitor

Hi,

I had the same query, but just found this info on an online acer user guide through the 'scribd' website (for some reason I can't post the link?):

It turns out that setting your monitor to 'warm' = 6500k.

Hope this helps.
