HP printer tells me it's out of paper but it isn't...

HP4110 All-in-One / Windows 7 ...

When linked with XP this printer came up with an on-screen box when it ran out of paper:- add paper, then 'Continue' or 'Cancel Print'. Now, on Windows 7, there's nothing. Have tried turning the power off for 30 seconds and all the other 'fixes' mentioned in general shopping around, including checking the paper type, size, etc., but nothing works. The Printer dialogue box just continues to display 'out of paper', despite the fact it's already managed to print out an error test sheet.
Any ideas anyone please?

Haven't had any answers from any forums about this, so, until someone does so, you may have to do what I did and just reboot your PC or laptop, as well as the printer. Hope it works for you.
