I Need Help... Darn Thing Keeps Freezing/Rebooting!

My office computer keeps on freezing and/or rebooting. It has been happing ever since I got the darn thing. The guy who sold it to us hasn't been returning my phone calls (to be honest it doesn't seem like he knows whats wrong with the computer anyway).

The computer seems to crash almost randomly, but I know I can get it to freeze or reboot when I use Firefox to surf the net. Sometimes all I need to do is open up one window and it will freeze/reboot. Other times I have to open up several windows. However, lately I've been using Internet Explorer running with add-ons disabled and it has rebooted once in the last 2 days.

The computer will also freeze/reboot when I'm running AutoCAD but not as often as when I'm using Firefox.

I believe it is a custom built PC. Below are the specifications I could dig up:

Microsoft Windows XP Professional
Version 2002
Service Pack 3

Intel Core 2 Quad CPU
Q8400 @ 2.66GHz
2.67 GHz, 3.25 GB RAM

Motherboard is an MSI model MS-7519
Video Card is an ATI Radeon HD 4550

To me it seems as if the problem is with the video card or memory. The computer tends to crash when loading graphics either on the internet or when I'm using AutoCAD... I'm not sure... I would appreciate any help.
