I want to upgrade my system! SUGGESTIONS?

Here are my current specs for my PC:

Intel Pentium Dual Core E5200
Motherboard
Gigabyte S-Series G31M-ES2L motherboard
Memory
4GB Kingston DDR2 RAM
HDD:
2 TB Sata
Videocard
Asus EN900GT BP Video Card 512 DDR3 (NVidia GeForce 9600 GT)
Windows 7 64bit

MY PC would be 2 years old early next year, now I'm looking for some upgrade that would improve my computer performance when it comes to entertainment and gaming. Need suggestions, thanks for any help.

under $2000 would be fine, as for current parts only the 2 TB hard drive i would not change, as for the case, probably would change it.

One last question, would you also be requiring a monitor and other peripherals such as keyboard, mouse, etc.?

Total - $1364.93

That saves you some for a monitor if you need one. If not, then consider adding a second HD 5870 for some serious gaming power.
