IC7-G conflicts with ATI 9550

so i have recently pieced together an ic7-g motherboard and decided to go with an ati raedon 9550 graphics card but it will not allow me to load .. i get the load screen then when it gets to login screen my screen goes blank.. i can get it going in safe mode no problem. but why wont it load otherwise... is it a software conflict and should i just load the card with only the drivers and not the hydravision utilities.. ?? help please this is very frustrating.

Get into the motherboards bios and set the first video device to AGP. It's too bad ABit is out of business... I liked there products. Your IC7-G was made in 2002-3

ok yea.. i know that.. and the problem has since been corrected.. i dont know what i did .. but its fine now.. .. 2nd im having a wireless networking issue.. should i start a new thread
