Hello. I'm a new registrant so don't know if you've already dealt with this problem but would appreciate any assistance. My computer is 3-years old and has a Microsoft operating system. Ever since I bought it at start-up I get a prompt regarding acquiring Norton Anti-virus software. I always click on 'remind me later', because I wasn't interested, believing Microsoft has its own. When I went to access my computer/Internet this weekend, I was bombarded with Anitvirus software alerts and infiltration alerts advising that my computer has been attacked by a virus that could be a password-stealing attack, a trojan-dropper or similar. Every time I try to access anything on my desktop am blocked by similar alerts and those asking if I want to block this attack. Of course I'm supposed to say yes and buy their antivirus software. I believe my system has been 'highjacked' so I can purchase their product. Porn sites, etc. are also popping up. My question is what do I do to clean this up and access my computer. I am typing this from my office. Thank you so much.
