Inactive Infected laptop needs help

Malwarebytes came up clean, I cannot attach file, it just goes ///////////////////////////////////////infinity

Well, no logs show any type of infection so all those issues must be coming from some operating system corruption.
I suggest new topic in Windows forum.

Ok, I posted the others parts but no help which is why I came to you. I also noticed that when I launch IE, the search part in the bottom left automatically fills with the ///// with no help/input from me. clicking in url bar, same thing as with search.
I will post in the Windows forum, thank you & thank you for your time
