Install XP Home through Professional Disk?

Hello, does anyone know whether it is possible to install windows xp home edition through the windows xp professional disk? Or can you only use the home edition disk for a home edition install?

You have answered your own question in the last part. Each have different types of settings and the product key would not match up.
