Installing Spore onto Vista

Hi guys, ive bought Spore yesterday for windows vista and ive tryed to install it. When i put my disc in Nothing comes up and i here this wierd noise in the CD case thing. Ive tryed to look at the Games folder in my files, it wasnt ther. I look in my DVD RW drive and nothing came up. Ive tryed calling tech support from EA and they didnt no wat to do... PLEEESE help me. thanks

Ok daft question time are you trying to put a DVD ( i assume that due to its complexity its likely to be on a DVD) into a CD drive.

Does the unit read any other disks

If its the first then you need to install a DVD drive unit.

If its the second then you need a new unit either a CD or a DVD.

have you tried it in another unit say at a friends house, if the disk is faulty then take it back to the shop you bought it from and ask for a replacement.
