Intermittent internet connection issues

Hi,
I am facing some intermittent connection issues in my computer either trying to access webpages with any browser I have (Chrome, Firefox and Edge) or trying to use programs that require an internet connection (Skype, Steam, etc).

In case it is useful for you, these are some of the error messages I get from Chrome:

DNS_PROBE_STARTED
DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NO_INTERNET
DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN
DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_BAD_CONFIG
ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

I tried performing a DNS flush, but it did not fix it.
Also, I checked if it might be related to a malware (raised a topic in the Virus/Malware forum) but looks like it's not related to that.

Hi Firstline,

do you have any connection time at all?
What Equipment are you using and which provider?
(A friend of mine had a similar issue and it turned out to be a faulty router from the provider which they replaced free of charge which resolved the issue)

Identify the make/model of your router

go to the manufacture's website, support or drivers and download & install the latest firmware for your model.
