Inactive Internet Explorer and Firefox redirects to apype.com or smartwebsearch as homepage

please help me. i downloaded this program called youtube downloader and although i have already uninstalled youtube downloader, it left me a malware that i cannot seem to get rid of no matter what i do. everytime i open my internet explorer and firefox, it automatically redirects to smartwebsearch or apype.com. i want to get rid of this problem because it is so annoying. please anyone help me, i would really appreciate it. thank you.
