Is there a program that tells me what web addresses are being accessed by programs?

  1. I operate behind a filter which I can allow and block web addresses, however programs that access the net directly don't necessarily tell you what addresses it is accessing. I want to know in real time what programs are doing such as itunes.

Basically you're concerned with the two columns labeled Process and Remote Address which tell what each process is connected to what remote address.

    1) You can click on the Remote Address column header for an alpha sort by Remote Address
    2) Ignore line items with remote addresses = to: localhost, * or if it has your computer's name

OH. You might also want to play with another tool called Currports which also has the advantage as you can set it to keep a text log as things chagne so you have a written log to refer to as well :)
