Issue with 2way GPU CrossFireX

Good day,

Can someone advise with a fix for Flickering Issue when using CrossFireX on 2x RX 580 XFX 4G, when I limit the FPS on 60 the flickering reduces , but when I leave it unlimited fps goes to 170-180 and the flickering starts more and more.

Tried on Games : PUBG , DOTA 2 for now didn't have time to try on others.

Pc Build :
Ryzen 3600
Kingston 2x8gb 3200mhz
Gigabyte Aorus Elite OC 3200mhz.
2x RX 580 XFX 4G
SSD 120 GB Samsung Evo
Chieftec Modular 750W

Thanks in advance,
Have a nice day.

Could you describe the flickering? Does the screen blank out or does it jerk? Also, what refresh rate is your monitor set to?

Monitor:
ZOWIE XL2740 240Hz 27 inch e-Sports Monitor

it jerks it doesn't blank out, I think its the memory of one of the GPU but as far as I researched the web , most people say that the issue is the AMD driver.

I can start the game even enter a server to play but its unplayable because of the jerking

GPUS are Polaris Architecture.

Please advise.

If I remember correctly, a common issue with CrossFireX was vsync not actually working, even when enabled in games/drivers. Another cause might be ULPS. However, you've probably noticed though, having look about on the net, that for CF-related problem, there are dozens of different suggestions and fixes. :(

That said, it could be one of the cards is starting to die - you could remove one, try it in some games, and then swap it over to see if there is any difference.

If that draws a blank, then have you considered replacing them with a single GPU? RX 580s seem to be sold for a reasonable price (Amazon, Newegg) so a pair should go some way to paying for something like an RX 5700 XT (which would certainly perform just as well as 2x RX 580s).

Well,
That is my last solution , to sell both of the cards and replace them with a solid 1660 Ventrus or RTX 2070 MSI or even an RX590, but for now I am first time user of CrossFireX so I wanted to try it out and check the frame differences when using 1 and 2 gpus, even though its gonna consume large amount of power from the PSU.

Thanks anyway,
Have a nice day.
