Issue with Ghost to Clone & MSCORSVW

I am using Ghost v12 to clone a Maxtor 40 Gb to a Seagate 750Gb, running XP Pro SP2. Ghost runs fine, but when I boot from the Seagate, I get my wallpaper and nothing else. Task MGR shows MSCORSVW working at 95 - 98%. Using "DOS commands" I can see the contents of my profile under C:\Doc & Settings. Box was set for auto-download & install for all patches. But I am stumped. Any ideas out there? TIA!
