I'm getting a really weird issue where any game will hit 0 to 1 fps for about 10 seconds and when I'm loading the game, and several times during the actual game, but if I alt-tab out and back in during the freeze period, it does fine until a couple minutes later. The problem is completely gone if I play in windowed mode at the same resolution as full-screen, but full-screen has the problem...
It's an Aorus x5 laptop, (965m SLI), and I game on an external Acer Predator xb271hu in 1440p, 144hz(def not hitting 144fps, but the monitor is set to 144hz).
During the 0 or 1 fps freeze time, MSI afterburner tells me I'm not using either GPU at all, big fat 0% usage.
Any ideas?
