iTunes question - can I reload from my iPod to my laptop?

I recently loaded Windows 7 onto my laptop (was Windows XP Prof) but in doing so didn't save i-tunes which has now completely disappeared from my laptop. Is there an "easy" way to copy/reload from i-pod onto my laptop? Tks.

Don't you just plug in your ipod and wait for it to sync?
Shouldn't be a problem if you have everything on your ipod.
Else, it does become problematic, but maybe not impossible.

Thanks for that. I've tried that but synchronising doesn't work.
