I own a Toshiba Gigashot HD camcorder (a brilliant camcorder) and I have been recording video in 1280×720 MPEG-4 format.
However, when I playback any video on my computer it is very choppy and jerky. It skips irregularly every couple of seconds or so.
It is jerky if I play it on QuickTime or VLC but if I play it on "PIXELA ImageMixer 3 for Toshiba" there is no jerkiness.
This isn't a good solution though because this is an editing program and it isn't paticularly appropriate for playback of videos.
Can anyone explain why the playback of my videos could be like this?
