Hello Friends,

My name is Sunil and I have AVG free addition on my laptop. It appears that my laptop is infected with JS/Downloader.agent. I suspect that virus may have got in when I used my laptop in Airport!

Any way here are the scan reports,

AVG report
Virus identified: JS/Downloader.agent
Path: c\documents and settings\SUNIL\Local settings\temporary internet files\content.IE5\J46CRGXL\index[3]htm
file name: index[3]htm
size:8.3 kb
source: backup copy

(sorry couldn't get this in note pad)

Kaspersky scan, Hijackthis and combofix logs are attached.

Highly appreciate your help. I am not a IT person!

Note please, that I don't review the logs for malware. However, this is showing in the temporary internet files. Deleting the cache in IE should remove it:

My Computer> Right click on Local Drive- usually C> Properties> Disc Cleanup.

You also need to update the Java:
C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.5.0_06

Current version is v6, u5:
http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp

Those who review the logs will have you remove:
O18 - Protocol: tbr> Crawler\Toolbar

These two entries are also suspect:
O22 - SharedTaskScheduler: Browseui preloader -
O22 - SharedTaskScheduler: Component Categories cache daemon
