Keyboard Giving me Wrong Characters

All of a sudden, within the last two weeks, after the last Windows update, my keyboard is giving me some wrong characters. The upper case @ and " have changed places, and my pound sterling (upper case 3) sign has disappeared completely. That's only the ones I know about - there may be more! This is annoying - it's a Microsoft keyboard, by the way.

Can you help?

Amazingly, within an hour of my previous post, The keyboard problem righted itself, and I now have my @, " and £ back in their right and proper indicated places. Thank you so much, whoever you are!!

Windows updates can do many things... in your case, I think it tried to move you to the USA..and then recognized its mistake. Imagine your surprise if it decided you were in Korea.

It might be a failing keyboard (or keyboard cable, more likely), so you might watch the sales for a new one.
