Keyboard Problem

There is a chip in the keyboard which may be toast. USB or wireless? PS or laptop? OS? Drenched in DR Pepper or Coke? Backed car over it?
If standalone keyboard - Remove device, reboot, shut off. Then tip keyboard upside down and tap the edges on desk top - top and bottom right and left - dislodge detritus - blow clear. Attach device, reboot.

There might be some issues with language settings. maybe it switched to different settings so it is acting strangely now. Check all those settings and maybe then try to check hardware issues. If there is nothing wrong on the system there is nothing wrong with the system I guess. And yeah, more info would be helpful. OS and all
