Kicked out and disconnected

My son is disconnected from the internet when he is playing xbox when the phone is answered.
Not sure what is going on. The Xbox is using a linksys router up stairs and a westell modem. If we watch movies from netflix we are disconnected as well. Steve

Is this an ADSL service through the phone line?

If so, can you confirm that all phone points in use on the telephone line in question all have ADSL filters fitted?
