Laptop fan problems;Can I still use it like this?

My laptop sounds like a jet engine and its coming from the vents! I have an ASUS X401u and I dont have money to get it prepared!

Can I use the laptop with it sounding like this? I only use it to listen to music and browse the internet! And it isnt slowing down, or glitching, but it sounds horrible!

Also, how long can it continue like this?

Thanks for the reply! I am a complete noob and today it shut off randomly for the first time! Im scared to open it up, but now it sounds AWFUL! It is barely revving and you know we use words like "revving" to describe an engine! Thats what it sounds like!

The fan bearings are bad and it will have to be replaced to stop the noise
