Laptop/netbook search

Im having trouble finding the right laptop/netbook so any suggestions are appreciated.
Heres wat im looking for, something small with
- screen size 11-13,
-dual core
-higher resolution than the basiic 1024x600
-support for 3g ram or more
-some type of output like VGA,preferably hdmi

-Around the $500 mark.On a budget so less than 500 would be nice but idk if its possible with those specs.

If you wait the next gen coming out in 2010 of netbook would be N480 1.8Ghz ION base graphics for HD, larger HDD and more RAM. No more 1GB and 160GB HDD.

New netbook platform

You will see Acer, Asus, Dell, Toshiba and every company is going to use the new platform. However, by the time you see the products on the market will be end of Jan, 10 or Feb, 10 as early. Unless you are hugh fans of watching HD movies on your netbook, the Asus 1201N can do all the jobs that you want now. Price will be around low $400 for the new platform on 10.1' and mid $500 on the 12.1". No more 11.6" on netbook next year.

All of them going to have it.. ACER (owns Gateway, eMachine) HP (compaq), DELL, Toshiba and the rest. ATOM is a very fast processor N270, N280 is 0.6GHz faster than the N270 which is 1.60GHz. Still I like ASUS Eee PC LED LCD then next would be the ACER Aspire One also has the same but it has Dolby Digital Surround for the sound. Each company offers something different to get you to buy them. If you buy these netbook you need to know you must use a larger cell battery. 3 cell default can give you up to 3.5hrs if you turn down the LED brightness down and use Balance of power. High Power will give you the best performance but thus less battery life. Again if you don't move the netbook you can use the AC power and stay on it for hours.
