Leaked benchmarks show the iPhone 12 could outperform every Android phone

It's got better, but NO BRAND is exempt from depreciating battery performance.

Nothing like a Galaxy.
That being said the S10 is way overpriced.
I thought Lion had a valid issue but he did not.
His problem wasn't degrading batteries, but battery life per charge. He then confirmed it.

Actually they did just that the S20 has a 4000mah battery compared to the S10's 3400mah battery. What I want though is a phone that will last 5 days. No point shopping around I already own the phone it wasn't a question about what to buy.

I'm removed most of the bloat from the S10 already and I can already do two days on my phone off a single charge. Having it quick charge also helps I can go to 80% in 35mins.

Samsung has a service that you can replace batteries even on models with sealed ones so that isn't as much a problem on this brand.
If we can charge in 35mins and get 10-13 hours screen on time, requesting 5 day battery life is beyond excessive. I replied assuming your request was warranted.

I wasn't expecting that today.

We will get there eventually but it will require better battery tech.

It goes without saying that battery life will improve over time.

My old LG G4 was lucky to get 1 day of heavy use and 6 hour SOT. I then paid less for a new phone and doubled both. Point being, the problem isn't always the battery, sometimes it's the device.
