Lenovo c580 wouldn't start

Hi, I recently bought a new laptop from other country, its brand new. Lenovo c580 with 6gb ram and 1tb hard drive. when I click on Start button, nothing happens, the laptop doesn't start. I tried to charge it, but still no luck. I can see battery is charging but it doesn't start
Any ideas?

Have you tried returning it as you recently bought it?

Hi, they don't accept returns and I bought it without any warranty. My bad... do u know what problem could it be ?

Have you tried taking out the battery, then putting it back in again? Which shop did you get it from because they should accept faulty products...
