Logging here every time, why?

Why am I having to log in here every time I come in on my iPad? I've checked the settings on my iPad & it is saved in there but tech spot has never asked me if I want it saved.
Does it get dumped when I clear history? Just curious is all & thanks.

I haven't been able to retest during the weekend, but I know for sure my iPad/iPhone keep me logged in with the forum cookies normally. What I'd suggest is logging in here and make sure the checkbox "Stay logged in" is selected:

Julio, I've never seen the "stay logged in" check box when I log in on my iPad . It's never asked me either,puzzled.

Go to the link I indicated. Log out first, then go to that login page (instead of the drop down login).

When I go to settings>safari>clear history, does that log me out of here? I admit I do clear my history a few times a day
& I did check that log in box but I still have to log in occasionally.

Possibly yes, not sure how Safari handles login credentials on the iPad.

I use Chrome, not a huge fan of safari.

Ok, just now as I started to log in here I see a link saying AutoFill Password. I clicked it & of course it logged me in.
If it continues to show, I might stick with safari, otherwise I'll go to google chrome, thank you.

Just got Google chrome & am happily surprised to see my bookmarks on it. Thanks. might just stick with Google chrome on here
