Dear all,
I have been using a Raspberry Pi running Ubuntu Mate for over a year now with Thunderbird mail client which I just use to filter spam and junk messages I receive daily and although it essentially works it is very clunky and crashes often. I administer this via Remote Desktop.
I have a Qnap TS-453Be NAS system and other than QmailAgent (which has no spam filter) there's no e-mail client available that I can see. I understand I can set up 'XDove' but it looks massively complicated to set up and I don't actually want a mail server - I just want a low powered method for filtering my spam and junk.
Does anyone have any ideas?
I used to use SpamSieve on my Mac desktop which was great, but it was killing my Mac as the filter wouldn't work in sleep mode so I had my power settings set to 'always on' - NOT energy efficient at all.
