Lucked out

Bought a MacBook Pro + Airport Extreme Base + iPod Shuffle, all for $500.00 USD from my cousin.

She got it in the divorce LOL!!


So I'm new to Mac, haven't used one since I was in elementary school, and am wondering anyone know of good apps and programs for Mac?

Also I seemed to have broken the App Store, when I try to open it all it shows is a blank screen with the loading wheel eternally spinning. Not exactly sure what I did... >.>'

Was that "lucked out", "locked out", or both? - lol

Sorry couldn't help my self. Anyway wish I could help, but I know nothing of Apple.
