The Chinese have been stealing IP for decades, it's no surprise they now have a CPU. As expected, it's garbage like the vast majority of products out of China.

It's really funny that in 2020 the Government agencies of the US haven't yet presented a SINGLE evidence that Huawei has engaged in industrial espionage and inclusion of malignated backdoors in their hardware/ software to sift private information from US citizens.
Kirin processors which are featured in Huawei smartphones were properly developed by HiSilicon and ARM holdings and are comparable or sometimes better than those developed by Qualcomm or Samsung, there's no evidence of eavesdrop from their product lines.

Finally the all the years of IP theft starts to pay off in the chip sector. 5 more years and we'll have GPU's as well, all being dumped on the world market for a song.

I dont like when intellectual property gets stolen, nullifying the efforts of very smart people who deserve their pay. But dont you feel like being robbed sometimes when paying 500 dollars for a mid tier video card?

And you wait when everyone that has ever brought and shared/lost their tech with/in China sees their foolishness then moves their wealth to other countries. Then we ll see China's true worth without constantly stealing everything from the Europe and USA and reselling for a fraction of the cost back.

Just these two steps:
1.Dont let them sell back to us
2. Stop sharing the leading technologies

They wont go down. But they can never be what they have become with those two benefits they acquired from the western world.
