Malware preventing programs from opening (HijackThis log attached)

Hello all,

I would greatly appreciate any help with a current malware issue. Almost every time I try to open an application, I get this error:

"the application failed to initialize properly (0x0000005)"

In response, I ran HijackThis and have attached the txt log. Any help would be outstanding. Thanks.

I should add that this beastly malware prevents me from downloading new programs, such as the antivirus/spyware programs recommended in the "8 steps", so that is why I don't have the other two logs.

I can't even run a spyware program right now, unless I can find one that will download.
