MCP73VT-PM Ethernet disappeared

I recently installed a modem card to the motherboard because I was working on a program for autofaxing, but when it finished the driver install, it dropped my ethernet.

Motherboard is: MCP73VT-PM (I believe... Can't find anything else on the board that would be a model number, nor a manufacturer)

Currently, my onboard Ethernet does NOT show up in device manager
when the realtek drivers were installed it said it installed correctly, but it still does not show up in Device Manger. The lights on either side of the port are both on, one solid green the other flickrs green once every 2 seconds (on average).

BIOS says it's enabled (Provided I'm looking at the right option)

I've uninstalled the drivers for the modem card and removed it. Nothing.

What do I need to do?

EDIT: Oh, and I've also done a system restore, with the dumb idea that the ethernet will show up again

using the Device Mgr; disable the new Modem, View->Hidden Devices and then refresh the device list

[+] expand the Network Adapters

the Ethernet should be there; is there a Yellow or Red mark?

Sometimes the Modem will have a conflict with the Eithernet IRQ and only one or the other
can be enabled at a time

There's a list of things, all of which do NOT have a yellow or red mark.
the list of them consists of:
Microsoft ISATAP Adapter
RAS Async Adapter
Teredo Tunneling Pseudo Interface
WAN Minport (IKEv2)
WAN Minport (IP)
WAN Minport (IPv6)
WAN Minport (L2TP)
WAN Minport (Network Monitor)
WAN Minport (PPPOE)
WAN Minport (PPTP)
WAN Minport (SSTP)

that's nice, but as we're attempting to solve a problem, we need the list of network adapters WITH yellow or red
