Memory RAM Heatsink

My computer has RAM modules installed without heatsink.
I'm deciding between two models.
One costs $2 (2PCS), the other $9 (2PCS).
For $9, everything looks better, but it's made of thicker aluminum, and the branded memory modules are sold with shrouds like sample #1.
Of course, I could buy both kits and test them, but maybe someone knows the answer.

It also depends on what type of thermal pad you are planning on using with any of these after market heat sinks. The ones I've used in the past came with their own, but they were cheap so there's that, I never used them but obtained high quality pads & I've never regretted it. Don't know what your budget is but for best performance & thus reliability over the long run, obtain quality thermal pads & apply them yourself.

It turned out that everything was painted, both inside and out.
I'm not sure if I did it right, but I used fine sandpaper to remove the paint from the inside.
I used a Laird Tputty 607 on PMIC&DRAM and the thermal pad included in the kit on the back.
When I ran a quick stress test from HWiNFO64, the difference was noticeable.
