Microsoft says Bing has been blocked in China

??? What's going on???
Lets just say I'm being silenced over a controversial topic, expressing myself the only way I know how. I'm being disrespectful by placing labels on someones disposition. That is not necessarily calling them names but is still frowned upon. Carrots are being waved in front of our faces and the length of our jumps are being moderated. Makes it hard to be truthful.

Things are made in China, because they are made 5% cheaper so the owner can make more profit, not because they are made better.
Yeah 5% cheaper... tell that to dollaramas they haven't caught on it, have you ever been into one of those cheap home decor store? Those are all things bought on cents or dollars in bulk. And then you are getting priced a quarter of a bulk for a single item at a couple of dollars and you are more than happy buying them so cheap.

Answer me this, where is the iPhone being built? Isn't it excellent quality based on specifications?? In other words, they will make it to the specifications requested, the bad quality is not a standard but for the company you are buying from.

Also, not all products made, are heavily based on wages. Shipping a product could cost more than the wages it took to build it, etc.
It looks like you've never browsed in Aliexpress or any of those... you can literally buy things for $1 with free international shipping, I have no idea what you are talking about.

No, you made things personal while being hateful -and hypocrite- in your comment.
PS: Sorry to hear that's the only way you know hot to.

No I was standing up for the American people and their mentality to be able to get things done their self. Your comment should go to the ones I was protesting. Imports are an attack on the countries citizens. And in this case they are also an attack on China's citizens as exports. I don't care how many words, I have to use to get that message across.

This is what you are not getting, it's not about not being able to produce, it's about not being able to compete against international prices.

That's the reason why all the factories began to shutdown in the states as international economic trades were being signed. It's not that they couldn't do it, they were doing it. They couldn't drive enough the prices to be competitive.

What a better way to deal with it but another post...
https://www.techspot.com/news/78464-why-apple-made-america-mac-pro-delayed.html
Critics for years have called for Apple to move manufacturing of its various products to the US. Although its hardware is famously designed in California, products are largely constructed overseas in China – a region that offers unrivaled expertise, infrastructure, cost and scale...
...It’s just one example, albeit a telling one, of why Apple isn’t likely to move manufacturing to the states anytime soon (or perhaps, ever). It’s understandable why some support the notion of “made in America” but from a business / manufacturing standpoint, it’s hardly feasible.

Some outside information, I hope this is not against the rules (https://fee.org/articles/a-made-in-america-iphone-would-cost-2-000-studies-show/):
Rassweiler says making all of the iPhone’s parts in the U.S. would push the price of the iPhone’s components from $190 to around $600. “If the materials alone are costing $600,” says Rassweilier, “it stands to reason, that same iPhone could cost, perhaps, $2,000 at retail.”

That's not the only reason. Many of them simply didn't want to pay taxes so they moved out. I see you are still not for equality for all. What the crap would we do, if someone did decide to bomb China. Our dependency on other nations is only a sign of weakness within our own.

I'm done talking to a brick wall.

For some reason, actually living and understanding how the current global economy works makes me someone who is evil... go figure...

"actually living and understanding how the current global economy works"
Which has nothing to do with how it should be. Go figure!

I wish they would tax the crap out of imports that we can make within our borders.

Keep on taking what works for you and ignore everything else even if you have to take it out of context.

out of context.
You mean like this is a topic about Bing, before we started looking down at China from cloud nine. I seriously can't understand how we would be so proud of ourselves. We can't stand on our on feet. And you want it that way simply because that is the way it is. It is that way because corporate wants it that way. Out of all the angers we have for corporate business, I can't believe this is not one of them for you.
