Missing Thread

Hey Everyone !

I want to bring up an strangely peculiar issue, i.e. a thread has gone missing.

Few weeks ago I along with dividedbyzero along with few others made few posts on a thread discussing free games. Now neither me nor dbz is able to find that thread, and we are pretty much perplexed by this. Any information in this regard will be very appreciable.

Can you recall what forum was this on or what was the last time you participated in this thread?
I looked around for something that could have been accidentally deleted over the past few weeks but found nothing.

It should be roughly around 5-6 weeks at max I think. I'll ask DBZ to confirm that as well. I am looking for it because I wanted to refer it to a friend, without having to assemble what was listed in it again.

The thread Archean is referring to involved a query from a poster enquiring about the availability of free/open-source games downloads that offer good playability.
I cannot remember what forum section the thread was posted in, although Archeans time frame seems to be about right. From memory I believe Matthew (de Carlo) and red1776 also contributed to the discussion (this from memory only).

I'm afraid I can't find any threads that have been removed and in which you participated. I looked as back as February.
If you can give me more hints I will be happy to continue looking.

Also, maybe you could do a google search and potentially find a cached version of the thread. I suggest you try something along the lines of:
"TechSpot Openboards" + keywords related to the gaming thread

I came to this area of Techspot to try and discover how to post a "link" with the word "here" or "try this" and came across this post and I remembered I, downloaded "DOOM" after reading it.
