Dell laptop WinXp build shows svchost.exe -k netsvcs for hidserv.dll is missing (via Ultimate Troubleshooter) and hidserv.dll will not load. C:\Windows\sys32 shows copy of svchost.exe and hidserv.dll are present. Sound is ok but internet connection is only available via cable and not via Wifi (but home wifi and neighbours networks are available via my other laptop. How to repair replace the missing svchost.exe -k netsvcs and/or damaged hidserv.dll. Note problem seems similar to https://www.techspot.com/community/...rojan-horse-downloader-generic12-bpnf.180351/.
