If you receive a text asking you to visit a url which is an IP address such as the following example (I have changed it to stop it working, just in case anyone is tempted!)
http://209.160.78.80/wapvert/collect.asp?s=769602
don't do it - either on your phone or via your PC as it is a nasty and will kill the phone. Don't know if it will damage a PC but will damage Sony, Nokia, Motorola and LG phones
