So I bought a new monitor (Acer Predator Z271) and when I connected it to my gpu(gtx 950 xtreme) via display port it wasnt recognized at all and it sayd no signal. I replaced it with old monitor via vga to dvi and the old monitor worked. When both monitors were connected I found out that my pc behaves like the new monitor doesnt even exist. Anyone know the fix?

Connect with known good cables. If monitor still does not get recognized:
1. check manual to see if setup required.
2. contact manufacturer's support to see if they can 'fix' it
3. return it.

If it would work with HDMI then how could I make it work with DP?
