Motherboard and CPU compatability

I am looking to purchase a quad core processor that is compatible with my motherboard. Geforce6100PM-M2 v2.0

I have read that Quad core can be unlocked on the AMD Phenom II x2 560 black edition if the motherboard will allow.

My questions are:

Is this processor compatible with my motherboard?
If so will i be able to unlock the two dormant cores?

If not could you help me find a quad core that is compatible with my motherboard for under $100.00 including shipping.

The Phenom ii x2 560 BE is not supported on that board.

The Quad Cores are listed in the link for you (9750,9650,9600,9550,9500,9100e). As regards to price for $100, i'm not so sure, they all look pretty expensive but maybe if you have a good look around the net, You just might find a good deal.
